October, 2003 - Millbury incinerator cuts Mercury emissions - see

Annual Meeting 2003 - took place at the Grafton Elementary School on
October 8th.

It took a while to get a quorum, but yummy refreshments were available for
the wait. The President gave his report, there was a lively question and answer
period, the Treasurer's Report and then the voting. The meeting was finished in
time for most people to catch most of the Red Sox game....

Roads are being painted - parking lots and Bunkerhill
will be painted on Monday, September 8th.. Please park vehicles in the
driveways - Glen

Handyman Wanted
Are you, or do you know a handyman who can assist us with painting and odd
jobs? Applicant must carry liability insurance or be willing to pick up
liability insurance. Please contact Glen or Fred (3 Lexington). You can use the
board email or stop by and see them.

Stain your Deck
It was decided at the August board meeting that owners would be allowed to
stain their decks under certain circumstances.
|
PRV's School Bus Stop
- The board voted in June to move the school bus stop to the corner of Bunker
Hill and Grafton Street. This was due to the damage being caused at the mail
building, the debris, and the safety concerns about the electrical box there.
At the last meeting, the vote was rescinded. Read more.

New Soil and Seed for troubled spots
- June 21
|
|
New soil and seed have been spread on many of our
troubled areas. Loam was purchased and was spread by
board members, volunteers, and Brannigan Lawncare. Please be helpful and
water areas around your home to entice these seeds to flourish!

Water Flow Testing - June 24
|
|
|
Engineers were on site conducting water flow tests, Tuesday, June 24.
A report on the subject will be available soon.

Summer Yard Sale - June 28
|
|
PRV residents participated in the 2nd 2003 yard sale.
The weather was spectacular and the crowd was large. Another success.
Thanks Cheryl, and anyone else who had a hand in it, for organizing
another PRV function.

Electrical Meter Boxes
The Electrical Panels (electric
meters) for all units are being inspected and those that fail the
inspection are being replaced. Garabedian Electric
(contractor) will be calling each unit owner to schedule the inspection,
the power will shut off for a period of time. This activity is
expected to take three months to complete. More

Lawn Maintenance - June 12
TrueGreen/ChemLawn was on site 6/12 to apply fertilizer, weed
control, and insect control to our common grounds.

Carpenter Ants and Bees
The exterminator has treated
our foundations for ants.
If you have a bees nests
outside your unit, you are asked to contact the exterminator and leave a
detailed message as to exactly
where the nest is. Contact info is here.

Doggie Path

Our doggie path
has been mowed and cleared of obstructing trees. Enjoy with your pooch!!
