I have been Scuba diving for 7 years now and have gone diving in Florida, Mexico, Bonaire and Hawaii. I spend most of my time, however, exploring the dive sites along the coast of Gloucester and Rockport, MA.  

Most people don’t think there is much sea life around New England , where the weather and the water temperature are significantly cooler than the tropical waters off the coast of Florida. In fact, there are so many beautiful marine animals: gorgeous pink, blue, red and yellow starfish; brilliant pink and red lump fish; mottled brown, red and yellow sea ravens.   


I have posted some of my underwater and land images at www.jessicavasale.com.  I am increasing my portfolio of shots on a daily basis with hopes to one day have an art showing of my favorites.   
I started taking underwater pictures with a Sea & Sea MX10, which is a 35mm camera with an intact housing.  I recently upgraded to a Nikon D100 digital SLR, to which I can attach a macro port for close up shots or a dome port for wide angle shots.
