Easy Orange Cake

Best Hot Fudge Sauce!

I got this recipe and made the cake over the weekend.  I wasn't going to make it because of the oranges in it but it is delicious and the oranges end up in tiny, tiny pieces so you don't have to chew on an orange while you eat the cake. It's very refreshing. Try it.

Cake: 1 Box Yellow Cake
 Mix    1/4 cup vegetable oil
 4 eggs
2 cans whole mandarin oranges (one  with juice, one without juice)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Combine all  ingredients.  Divide mix  between two 8" round  cake  pans (greased and floured).  Bake 25 minutes. (I had to cook it for 35 minutes so you'll want to check it after 25 minutes)  Cool.  Frost.

Frosting: 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 large package instant vanilla pudding
1 large container Cool Whip

Mix pineapple and pudding.  Blend in Cool  Whip.  Frost cake and refrigerate. Enjoy!

Here is a recipe for the best hot fudge sauce ever.
4 squares bakers unsweetened chocolate. (orange & brown box)
1 cup butter 1 box confectionary sugar
  2 small cans evaporated milk (5 fl.oz.size)

Slowly melt choc. and butter in saucepan.  Remove from heat and add sugar & milk alternately. Stir until smooth. A whisk works best. Return to stove and simmer 8 minutes. Will last refrigerated for at least one month.
