Last
month I asked you all a question about our mail
delivery. Fourteen of you responded that you
have had issues. Attached
is a pdf of the letter emailed to our board
and also to the postmaster of Millbury.
For
future misdirected mail, unless you hand it to
the person it belongs to, please write on the
envelope "put into wrong box" and
place into the official blue mail box.
Thank
you for all your responses. Names have been
removed but unit numbers are included with
comments.

Rebecca
reports - "Very
nice meeting we had at Jan's last
Thursday...good discussion of Brighten the
Corner Where You Are by Fred Chappell, and
many VERY tasty snacks. Thank you
Jan and Kaye for hosting.
Our
next book is The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri.
I've read this already and enjoyed it very
much. It did draw me in right from
the beginning like Kite Runner and was a
vividly depicted story of the
first-generation immigrant experience, set
right here in Massachusetts. I'll be
interested to hear what you think of
it. Here
is a link to it on Barnes & Noble: Warning: If
you like Indian food, don't read when
hungry :-)
Once again,
I highly recommend www.bookcrossing.com
for learning about books, getting
recommendations and trading books with
others. We are going
to keep meetings on the 3rd Thursday of
the month at 7pm, making the next one on
August 17th. For
details on joining the PRVA book club,
email Rebecca.

Jodi Dromgoole Provides Update on daughter
Erin
|
|
An Erin
update!
For jobs
Erin taught History at The Newman School
(co-ed private school on Marlborough St.
in Boston) last year. This fall
she moves to teaching History and
English at The Roxbury Latin School in
West Roxbury. It is the oldest
school in continuous existence in North
America...founded in 1645, in the reign
of King Charles the First. With
280 grade 7>12 boys, she should be
busy!
She still
runs and runs and loves it. She
continues to amaze! I am sending
some pictures and a description of where
they were. Jodi - 3 Village
