Board Meeting and

|
Let's give our enewsletter a
name other than PRVA Newsletter. It's too confusing with the
PRVA printed newsletters. Let's vote on a new name together.
Just reply to this
email with your ideas and next month we'll vote on one.
Let's see....Paul's Pieces....Village Carrier...

Permission-based
Can-Spam Law - This is a good law. It
will eventually weed out most of those annoying spam
emails. The
new law applies to all e-mail –
including business-to-consumer and
business-to-business – for which the
primary purpose is the commercial
advertisement or promotion
of a commercial product or service must
include: 1. There MUST be a
physical address in the email
2. There MUST be an option to get off that
list (called opt-out)
3. There MUST be a way to reply to the
email
4. The subject line MUST be correct and
not devious
5. If an opt-out is received, it MUST be
taken off the list within 10 days. All
of you are owners at Paul Revere Village
and this is not a commercial email. We
would, of course, honor anyone's request
to be removed from our list. More about
the Can-Spam
Act of 2004 can be seen here. For
a look
at the law itself, look here.

Value
of Time
What is the value of time?
Consider this:
Value
of ten years: Ask a newly divorced couple.
Value of four years: Ask a graduate.
Value of one year: Ask a student who has
failed a final exam.
Value of nine months: Ask a mother who
gave birth to a still born.
Value of one month: Ask a mother who has
given birth to a premature baby.
Value of one week: Ask an editor of a
weekly newspaper.
Value of one hour: Ask the lovers who are
waiting for a date.
Value of one minute: Ask a person who has
missed the plane.
Value of one-second: Ask a person who has
survived an accident.
Value of one millisecond: Ask the person
who has won a silver medal.
Value of a friend: Lose one and know.
Time waits for no one. No one knows the
number of days in his life. Treasure every
moment you have and seek that which is
eternal.
