Here's my mother's Irish soda bread recipe-it's very different from traditional soda bread- it is richer and sweeter and great with a cup of tea- the smell of it baking reminds me of my mom- I double the recipe and make 2 at a time- it makes a great gift! (Laurie)

Charlene Leith charlenell@aol.com  - "As for things we do...a hobby I enjoy is playing high stakes Bingo at Foxwoods. Who knows, maybe someone else here likes to play and would like to go in with me sometime. I'd even teach a newcomer how to play ;). " - According to http://www.foxwoods.com/Gaming/Bingo/ , Bingo is one of the most popular games in America. At Foxwoods it holds a special place of honor, as it was the first game offered at Foxwoods as Mashantucket Pequot High Stakes Bingo.

Computer Browser Trends

These statistics show that Internet Explorer 6 is the dominating browser, XP is the most popular operating system, and most users are using a display with 800x600 pixels or more, with a color depth of at least 65K colors. Netscape is almost a thing of the past! On a St. Patrick's day note, here are the lyrics to the song Danny Boy, which we all hum but maybe never quite know the right words to! (I never realized what a sad song it is)

Danny Boy
Traditional - Written By: Fred E. Weatherly
Copyright Unknown
Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling,
From glen to glen and down the mountain side;
The summer's gone, and all the leaves are falling;
'Tis ye, 'tis ye must go, and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow;
'Til I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow;
Danny boy, Oh Danny boy, I love you so.
And when ye come and all the flowers are dying,
If I am dead, as dead I well may be.
Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying,
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.
And I shall hear, 'though soft ye tread around me,
And all my grave shall linger sweeter be,
Then ye will bend and tell me that ye love me,
And I shall sleep in peace until ye come to me.
