PRVA Book Club

The Floods of 2005

Rebecca reports, "Our book club met for the 3rd time on 10/20. We discussed The Gold Coast by Nelson DeMille, delving into the life of the rich and famous on Long Island.  We had lots of friendly chat as well as some good snacks, a tour of Beth's newly decorated den and bedroom and for our next book decided on The Mermaid Chair or The Secret Life of Bees (reader's choice), both books by Sue Monk Kidd.  These have been popular picks with book clubs around the country so we figured we'd dive in!  Join us for the next meeting -- November 17 at 7pm at Pat Galipeau's house.  New members welcome! "
