Paul Revere Village - A Condominium Townhouse Association

Mr. Crosby

Mr. Crosby was loved and pampered by his former family- until he kids came along. Once the center of attention, he was ignored- a heart-breaking turn of events for this little guy. To make matters worse, feisty toddlers took pleasure in pulling his ears and tail and chasing him around the house. Once a healthy, handsome dog, Mr. Crosby lost weight rapidly, refused to eat and had bouts of diarrhea.

When Randy learned that the family was going to put him down, he decided to become the canine "knight in shining armor" and drove to New York to pick him up. Randy couldn't believe the emaciated, shivering, hesitant dog was once the dog that walked down the aisle at his brother's wedding.

Mr. Crosby spent a few days at my dad's, but it was obvious that he needed more than just TLC. He is "staying" with us while he receives homeopathic vet care, reiki treatments and canine acupuncture. He is our new office mascot and enjoys the attention and the fuss. He loves to walk around the block at PRVA with sister Shania J and cousins Max and Roxie the min-pins, and has claimed the best spot in the middle of our bed.

Mr. Crosby had a wonderful birthday party at the office today with his special DogFather's peanut butter birthday cake- everyone sang happy birthday and helped him blow out his candles-

Happy Birthday little guy- many more!

Before Laurie and Randy's TLC this 14 year old dog's prospects were poor.

July 2004, gained weight, nice coat, much healthier
