Remmi	Isis
Remmi is an 8 year old Rat Terrier who has also been in our family since she was a puppy. Her breed is somewhat uncommon in the USA. Rat Terriers were originally bred to hunt rats in England farmhouses, and she is a close relative of the Jack Russell and Fox Terrier. Remmi is somewhat high strung and loves to race around the house and play, very much like a puppy. In general, she is very rambunctious, but she can also be very loving and cuddly when she is relaxed. She is a natural watch dog and tends to be very curious. She is an instinctual protector and hunter, but she is also a very sweet and kind animal.	Isis is a 15 year old Italian Greyhound who has been in our family since she was a puppy. Italian Greyhounds are the toy version of their much larger Greyhound relatives. Isis is a very delicate and sweet natured dog, and loves cuddling with people. Because of her age, she is somewhat fussy and usually spends most of her time either begging for food or napping, often lying in a patch of sun by our big front window. Isis is a very loving dog and is certainly the "princess" in our family.
Mina	Mina is a 2 year old European Dove. Also known as Turtle Doves or Morning Doves, the American version of this bird is very common and looks very much like a Pigeon. We adopted Mina from the Wildlife Clinic at Tufts in Grafton, when my wife (who is a Veterinarian) was still a student there. Mina had some sort of neck injury and it was unknown if she was someone's pet. However, Mina is extremely tame and loves to perch on your finger, so we decided to bring her home. She loves to sing during the morning, and she has a beautiful cooing / trilling noise that she makes. She spends most of her time preening herself and playing with her image in the mirror.
