Trash Pick-Up
Trash pick-up is every Wednesday morning about
7:00 AM.  Please securely tie your trash bags or trash can covers and place heavy items on top of lighter ones so that  trash does not get blown all over the complex and animals do not get into it. It is a good idea to mark your trash receptacles in the event they get blown into your neighbor's yard. Unit owners must make their own arrangements for pick-up of large items with Millbury Rubbish Removal (508-865-0446) and are responsible for paying that fee.

Curbside Recycling - no charge
Millbury Rubbish accepts the following glass, metal and plastics. Rinse the articles before discarding. You can leave the labels on but remove and discard lids from glass and plastic items and flatten plastic containers.
-Glass bottles and jars that are clear, green or brown. NO broken glass or other glass items such as  window glass, dishes, glasses, Pyrex, ceramics or light bulbs.
-Aluminum/tin/steel cans and lids. NO foil, foil trays, aerosol cans or hazardous materials.
-Plastic containers labeled "1" or "2". NO plastic bags, toys or motor oil containers.

Newspaper recycling- Newspapers are picked up by Millbury Rubbish the first Wednesday of the first full week of the month. Newspapers may be bundled and tied, placed in a paper bag or placed in a rubbermaid tub or recycling bin. Newspapers may not be placed in plastic bags. Please cooperate with this recycling effort to keep our trash removal costs in check.

(Updated Jan 2005) Millbury Rubbish Removal has raised their rates as the town of Millbury is no longer allowing commercial haulers economical disposal at the Millbury Wheelabrator. Our trash disposal bills have doubled in the last few months, so we are requesting all owners and tenants to adhere to the following to KEEP OUR TONNAGE DOWN AND OUR RUBBISH REMOVAL WITHIN  BUDGET.

Newspapers CANNOT be discarded with your weekly trash. Newspapers are one of the heaviest items in trash pickup. They MUST be bundled, placed in milk crates, paper bags (no plastic) or put in Rubbermaid bins THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF A FULL WEEK.

Recycling of glass, tin cans, and plastic is now MANDATORY. Remove and discard covers from each container. Wash any product and flatten container. Place along side rubbish on a weekly basis.

Each unit is allows 5-7 bags of garbage per pickup (5 large trash bags or 7 small kitchen bags). If you plan to have extra trash, appliances, boxes etc, please email Board@PaulRevereVillage.com so these extra charges may be billed back to you.

Millbury Rubbish will collect other recyclables -  You must schedule a separate pick-up.  There will be an additional charge.

Auto - car batteries and motor oil
Clothing - clean clothes, curtains and other domestic items

Garbage – food

  • We are hooked up to town sewers
  • When you have sewers, you can enjoy garbage disposals
  • We must cease putting greasy liquids down our drains, it is fouling up the pump station
    • Put grease/greasy liquids in an empty can
    • Put ‘grease can’ in your refrigerator to harden/solidify
    • Add grease to this can until it is almost full
    • Place in plastic bag and throw out with your trash
